I reupholstered these chairs for TARTUFFE at Williams College in 2018. Set Design by Jason Simms. These chairs still had most of their original leather upholstery underneath the show fabric, and all of it had to come out! Some of the springs were salvageable when repositioned and tied in properly, but these chairs had to be almost fully gutted to get them back in working order!

Mid-Century Modern Tufted Reupholstery
Our stellar intern and I re-covered and re-buttoned this chair for WELL-INTENTIONED WHITE PEOPLE at Barrington Stage in 2018. Intern Maggie Knutzen made the pattern pieces, the covered buttons, and the piping, and I assembled the fabric panels together and attached the fabric and did all of the finishing touches. Set Design by Adam Rigg.
